Lamborghini, the Italian automobile manufacturer, according to reports has officially announced that it is going to build the Urus. We first came to know about this concept SUV in New York, before getting revealed at the Beijing Motor Show back in 2012. Ever since then the company had been working hard to get this beast into the production line. But as per recent reports the car finally got a green signal and will hit the assembly line soon at their San'Agata Bolognese facility in Italy which only means that will hit the showrooms no earlier than 2018.
This Lamborghini Urus SUV concept, according to the company would be lighter by about 100kg than some of its competitors like the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque as the SUV uses a carbon fiber body, featuring a power house of 584 bhp produced by a 5.2 litre turbocharged V10 engine by the German auto giant Audi which includes an electric motor. This AWD concept SUV is approximately 4.9 m long and 1.7 m wide. With a top speed of 328 kmph the car will have a seating capacity of 4 people.
