The wait is finally over. Maruti Suzuki finally launched its much anticipated Ciaz Z+ in the country. With a price tag of Rs 10 lac the company launches the new model of Ciaz stuffed with all new features which includes the best from the earlier model.
The new Model Z+ features a 7- inch touch screen "Smart Play" infotaintment system with voice commands, navigation, leather interiors and also comes with a 16 inch alloy wheels. The Sedan comes in two variants, Petrol and Diesel. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.4 litre K10B engine which offers a decent 20.73 kmpl mileage while the diesel variant is powered by a 1.3 litre DDiS engine which also offers a decent mileage of 20 kmpl.
The K series petrol engine provides a maximum power output of 91.2 bhp with a maximum torque of 130 Nm while its DDiS diesel engine provides a maximum power output of 88.5 bhp with a maximum torque of 200 Nm. The new Ciaz comes with an advanced 5 speed manual transmission gear box. Both petrol and diesel variant can attain a top speed of 160kmph with an acceleration of 0-100 kmph in 14 seconds. It has a 43 litre fuel tank and provides 510 litre of boot storage.
The new model has a stylish design, with front facade which is fitted with a radiator grille and sports a dual port headlight cluster. It also features fog lamps accompanied by chrome strips which adds to its style quotient. While the interior has an elegant dual tone color scheme with a stylish dashboard.
