Good news for all Ford Endeavour fans. Ford India today launched the new Ford Endeavour. The SUV is available in two trim levels – Trend and Titanium and has been offered with six colour options – Sunset Red, Diamond White, Golden Bronze, Moondust Silver, Panther Black and Smoke Grey. The SUV cost Rs 24.75 for the base 2.2L 4×2 MT Trend and Rs 29.46 lakh for the 3.2L 4×4 AT Titanium variant (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai). Source
The new Endeavour features a revamped design that sees it getting more rounded in shape. The styling makeover sees it getting a catchy chrome grille, projector headlamps, rectangular fog lamps, bumpers with scuff plates extending as silver trims, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, side steps, contrast roof rails, wraparound tail lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and alloy wheels.
In terms of standard features, the Endeavour comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS, traction control, hill-start assist, Ford MyKey, eight-way power adjustable front seats, Ford SYNC infotainment system with touchscreen and voice control, CD/MP3 player, Bluetooth and aux connectivity with steering mounted controls, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, powered tailgate and cruise control.
The SUV has been offered with a choice of two TDCi diesel engines – a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.2-litre 5-pot unit. The lower spec 2.2 Endeavour makes 160PS of power and 385Nm of torque. The higher spec 3.2 Endeavour on the other hand, makes 200 ponies and pumps out 470Nm of torque. Both these units come mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed auto.
