Then all new 2016 Fiat Aegea was unveiled at the 2015 Istanbul Motor Show, following which the company has started the car's production in Turkey which it will export to over 40 markets across Europe, Middle East and Africa. This car will serve as a replacement of Linea. Unable to make a mark on the sales chart, the company had no other option but to replace the obsolete Linea with a better more refined and advanced car.

As a result of which the all new Aegea was born. Fiat having high hopes from this car, plans to launch this car in Turkey this November after which it will start exporting the car to different markets. India will get a 'Made in India Aegea' which will be built in Fiat India's Pune manufacturing facility and is expected to hit the Indian showrooms in early 2016.

Speaking about the car's exterior, the car evidently boasts of its pure Italian design. A hexagonal shaped black grille flanked by super stylish headlamps, a wing-shaped front bumper with large air vents sporting a pair of elegant foglamps, a carved bonnet with two pronounced central ridges which continues along the roof and amazing swage lines flowing from the headlamps across the car's side and into the boomerang shaped LED tail-lamps and large 10-spoke alloy wheels. All in all we are highly impressed with the car's design. The sedan measures 4.5m long, 1.78m wide, stands 1.48m tall and has a wheelbase of 2.64m.
Inside, the sedan with a seating capacity of 5 people has a spacious and comfortable cabin with enough head and leg room, the car sports a black interior which looks quite similar to the company's 500 series. Black dashboard with silver inserts housing a chunky steering wheel and low mounted air-conditioning controls. Packed with features such as a 5inch touchscreen UConnect infotainment system with hands free Bluetooth, iPod integration, Aux and USB ports along with steering mounted controls and voice recognition. The car also offers a large boot capacity of 510 litre.
Under the hood, the car comes with 4 engine options, 2-petrol and 2 multijet diesel engines which could chunk out 95-120 bhp of maximum power and will be coupled with either manual or automatic gearbox. The car offers an impressive fuel economy of upto 30kmpl.
With promising cars like the 2016 Aegea and Punto Evo Abarth Fiat looks all set to start things afersh and step into the ever changing car market scenario filled with fierce competition.
