According to recent reports, The new Hyundai Tucson has been spotted testing in Pune ahead of its launch in October this year in India. Even though the spied car is heavily camouflaged, the tail-light enclosures give away its identity, confirming it as the third-generation Tucson. Hyundai had showcased the Tucson SUV at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo in February. Set to be launched in the festive season, the Tucson will be positioned below the Sante Fe and above the Creta in Hyundai’s SUV lineup.

As an International model, the new 2016 Tuscon will feature improvements economy, interior space, and handling. The Tucson was initially launched in India back in 2005 as a CBU (completely built-up unit) but the upcoming third-generation Tucson will most likely be assembled locally at Hyundai’s plant at Chennai.
